We visit a boat-building yard, where skilled artisans craft wooden boats using centuries-old techniques, a fading yet essential craft for local fishermen. We continue our exploration at a mat weaving family workshop, where you’ll get hands-on experience learning the intricate techniques behind this time-honored Vietnamese handicraft.

If you’re up for a treat, try making Bánh đập - a crunchy, chewy Vietnamese snack made by layering crispy rice paper over soft steamed rice sheets, then smashing them together and dipping in a delightful zingy sauce.

As the morning unfolds, we cruise through tree-lined roads & rural villages toward breathtaking coastal landscapes. We stop at the crest of a bridge, taking in sweeping views of Hoi An, the sparkling waterways below & the nearby islands.

Our journey leads us to a vibrant modern local café, where we can see up close the skills required for coffee roasting before we recharge with a fresh drip authentic Vietnamese coffee.

We conclude this truly memorable experience with a traditional lunch at a countryside restaurant, indulging in freshly prepared local dishes brimming with fresh ingredients & subtle flavors. Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, leaving you with incredible memories of rural Hoi An.
